Crossing Classes

First I have to say, Oz -- great event and wish I was there. By the way, the view counter is very helpful to know people are actually reading this stuff LOL but people are a little shy to post or just don't know how.

Second, I want to say -- Way to Go OZ -- your Cheetah girl is kicking butt on Dancing with the Stars! If anyone doesn't know, and it isn't confidential so I think it is ok to share, Oz directed Cheetah Girls and he actually was in the film for a crowd scene.

ok, now, third and why I originally came to post.
Last weekend I actually got to get together with a few girls who have been trying to make a day of it for about a year now. Long, long, ago, and far, far, away... sorry, LOL I digress, ummm many years ago a bunch of MVHS alumni found ourselves attending the same church -- the Mission Church in Carmel, NY. In fact, there were about 8 or 10 guys and girls from several MVHS classes of the 60's. God had changed all of our lives and we each had been drawn to this Christian church and into each others lives.

As time goes on, people move around and lives change. So, after all these years, a few of us decided to go back to Mission Church and visit with several that still attended and spend the day together. It was great to see the girls that came. We stayed for service and then went out for lunch. You may or may not know the girls that went - but you may know Eileen DeNisco Gisen (MVHS 1967) (wife of Arthur Gisen MVHS 1967); Jeanne DiPasquale Galvano Sparks (went to Spellman -- former wife of Robin Galvano (deceased) MVHS 1965; and wife of Billy Sparks MVHS 1965); Lynn Catapano D'Apice (MVHS 1966).

It is great to get together with old friends and those from good Ole Mt. Vernon from the days that we will treasure in our hearts.
